The Australian Cooperative Digitisation Project (ACDP) 1840-1845: Novels
The Australian Cooperative Digitisation Project created a digital library of Australian journals, newspapers and novels published in the period 1840-1845. SETIS is host to the four novels included in the project. Ascii text files resulting from optical character recognition of 600dpi bw tiff images were subsequently encoded at SETIS according to the guidelines developed by the Text Encoding Initiative. The novels are listed below for browsing but may also be searched for keywords and phrases. NOTE: These texts are also available with other texts by Australian authors at the SETIS Australian Literature page. This currently includes works by Marcus Clarke, Henry Lawson and Catherine Spence and others and is under development with new texts being added.
