SETIS is the Scholarly Electronic Text and Image Service at the University of Sydney Library. The Australian texts listed here have been encoded according to the Guidelines for Electronic Text Encoding and Interchange (TEI-2) and are converted to HTML as users search or retrieve sections of the texts.

This database is in development and changes weekly.

Each Friday morning the database may be unavailable as new texts are added.

Accurate text files of novels, plays, poems, stories, essays are welcome (as long as they are free of copyright restrictions.) Full acknowledgement of each file's creator will be included within the header information.
